The monsters were coming and Selene quickly gave the command.
"Move!"
Selene ordered, her voice sharp as steel.
"What are you doing?!"
Madam Verta protested, her eyes flicking wildly between Selene and the swarming monsters.
"Running away from our deaths. If you want to die, then you are more than welcome to stay here and let yourself get run over."
Selene said, her tone eerily calm.
Madam Verta gritted her teeth.
"You can’t run from death. It is something that is inevitable."
Selene let out a short, humorless laugh.
"I already ran from it once. Also, aren’t you running from your death as well? Do you truly mean to stay behind and get crushed?"
