"It’s going to be a busy year," Charlotte murmured as she stared at her work phone, reading the names of the women who were already being handled directly by the foundation. She let out a slow breath. "I hope I can manage my schedule well."
After the premiere, Charlotte and Damon immediately flew to Velmoria City, Charlotte’s hometown, and the place where she had lived her life before Julian ever entered it.
She wanted to start her life over from the beginning with Damon, so she chose that city for their wedding ceremony. It wasn’t only because she wanted to erase Julian’s traces, but also because Velmoria City meant a lot to her.
"Yeah... your life is definitely going to be very busy," Diana said while sitting in the bride’s makeover room with them. "But at least, you don’t have to worry about facing a psychopath like Julian anymore."
"Oh, come on!" Aveline, one of Charlotte’s friends, immediately scolded her. "Don’t say that J word!" She pointed at Diana like a strict teacher. "Charlotte, your future sister-in-law can’t even remember the rule!"
Diana was taken aback because that human girl dared to scold her like that. But since her body was covered in a lycan’s scent, she decided to just play nice.
"I just forgot!" Diana said defensively. "It’s not like someone will die just because we say his name."
