Chapter 80: The Demon’s Judgment and the Vanishing Warriors
Shamrock staggered, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth. The air around him shimmered with the remnants of Meruem's crushing Nen strike. Despite the wounds, his eyes burned with unyielding resolve.
With a feral roar, Shamrock raised his battered Cerberus Sword, the three spectral hound heads snarling louder than before. A radiant aura burst from his body as he activated one of his deadliest moves.
"Supreme Technique — Hades Cerberus Howl!"
The sword's three heads unchained themselves, expanding into colossal, ghostly beasts, their combined roars shaking the heavens. They lunged together, leaving trails of white-hot sword energy as their jaws snapped toward Meruem.
But Meruem's cold, emotionless gaze didn't flinch. His Nen exploded outward like a monstrous storm, forming a colossal demonic arm above him.
"A prey should not stand up." Meruem spoke with chilling finality.
He clenched his fist.
"Oblivion Grasp."
The Nen-formed demon arm crashed down, grabbing the spectral Cerberus heads mid-attack. The moment it touched them, the heads howled, their forms dissolving into sparks of light as the Nen's oppressive weight crushed them.
The backlash sent Shamrock flying like a meteor, smashing through rocky outcrops and splashing into the raging sea.
