Chapter 75: Vash the Gunslinger vs. God Knight Sommers - Gunsmoke and Thorns
Dark clouds covered the sky as lightning lit up the stormy sea. Strong fighters battled everywhere, shaking the ocean with their power. In the middle of it all, a lonely ship floated, its deck burned and broken from the fight.
On that wreckage stood two figures.
On one side was Vash the Stampede, the crimson-coated gunslinger whose reputation reached every corner of the world. The wind whipped his spiky blonde hair as his azure eyes burned with a mix of determination and playfulness. In his hand, the custom .45 Long Colt gleamed ominously.
Facing him was Sommers, a sinister elder clad in dark robes embroidered with thorn patterns. His skin was pallid, eyes like twin shards of obsidian. From his hands coiled living, writhing vines tipped with razor-like thorns.
"I have waited for this," Sommers sneered, raising his arm.
"You're annoying already," Vash chuckled, spinning his gun on his finger. "Brat, you still need a hundred years before you can hope to beat me."

Without another word, the deck split as thick, gnarled vines burst from beneath Sommers' feet, lashing toward Vash like a nest of angry serpents. The vines were as thick as tree trunks, covered in barbed spikes capable of tearing through steel.
"You're gonna wreck the whole ship!" Vash laughed, vaulting into the air as the thorns shredded the deck.
The ship exploded in splinters, debris raining down into the heaving sea. The vines coiled through the air, forming a platform of living thorns for Sommers to stand upon.
