Chapter 64: The World Reacts, The Sword Rises
Shimotsuki Village
The usual calm of the countryside shattered.
Villagers crowded around the local tavern, the dojo, and any home with a working Den Den Mushi. Children with wooden swords froze mid-swing. Elderly fishermen stopped mid-paddle. Market stalls were abandoned as every eye turned to the flickering transponder screen.
On it, Kuina stood triumphant, blade resting on her shoulder as for the five Supreme Void Knights lay unconscious behind her.
"She is one of us," someone whispered softly.
Isshin Dojo
The Den Den Mushi blinked with static before refocusing on Kuina's still frame. The image was shaky, but it was clear she had cut the sky itself.
Inside the dojo, students of all ages stared, mouths open. A beat of silence passed.
Then chaos erupted.
"I wanna be like Kuina!"
"Sensei, teach us the Horizon Divider!"
