Chapter Thirty-Two: What Shouldn’t Be
Yao Weishan’s expression changed, and he turned to run towards the door. Chen Nuo didn’t pursue but quietly watched Yao Weishan.
Yao Weishan almost reached the door and stretched out his hand to pull the doorknob when suddenly, his whole body stiffened!
He felt the air in his lungs being wildly sucked out, as if an invisible force compelled him to exhale!
His fingertips were barely half a centimeter from touching the doorknob.
But that half-centimeter was like an insurmountable chasm, utterly unreachable!
Every muscle in his body was rigid, as if his consciousness could no longer control any part of his body!
Chen Nuo slowly walked over, reached out to support Yao Weishan, and pulled him back into the living room, even sitting him down in a chair.
Then Chen Nuo patted his shoulder.
Yao Weishan suddenly felt that he could move his body again!
The lungs, which had been almost depleted of air, could now breathe again.
He gasped frantically, clutching his throat and savoring the sweetness of oxygen re-entering his lungs.
