The dormitories came back into view, and that was when Raelis and Clea split up, heading to their respective dorms.
Raelis approached the dormitory building and stepped inside.
The first thing that caught his attention was the reception desk, staffed by a bored-looking man flipping through a newspaper.
On the right side, there were a few chairs and a narrow hallway lined with room numbers. It wasn’t decorated extensively, as the academy focused heavily on efficiency over looks, except when it came to the uniforms.
But the left side was slightly different. It was an open space with several dozen isolated training rooms scattered throughout the hallway.
There were numbers on each of the rooms, but they meant something else entirely.
From what I remember... the number on a training room door indicates the mana density inside. The lowest is 1, and the highest is 10.
It was similar to the training room in the Varekan imperial palace, but this one focused more on overall training rather than just heat resistance.
So by default, this one is better, Raelis mused, then made his way to the front desk.
"Hello, could I get my room number? My name is Raelis Varekan, first year."
The receptionist set the newspaper aside and gave him a nod.
The man opened a drawer, pulled out a hand-drawn portrait, and compared it to Raelis.
