Chapter 37
When Tyler got down on his knee in front of everyone I gasped and I was the only one. Which means that this was a surprise that I didn’t see coming. They really had me fooled there.
"Tessa. I knew that you knew all about the party. You’ve been expecting it all day. That was the only way to get past you on this surprise. Ever since I met you, I knew that you were the one that I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I promise that I will make you happy for the rest of your life. No matter what happens we will be there together and we will fight anything that comes at us together. You are my one and only and you always will be. I love you more than life itself. I will be by your side forever. Will you do me the huge honor of being my wife?" He promised to me with all of his heart. My heart was definitely speeding up and I knew that everyone could hear it. But I didn’t care. He opened the ring box to show a white gold wolf’s head ring in it and a large princess cut diamond ring in the wolf’s mouth. I had to hold back a couple of the sniffles while I was looking at him and Bella was giggling behind me.
"Yes." I finally answered. And Tyler let out the breath that he had obviously been holding and he took the ring out of the box and slipped it on my finger. Then he stood up and kissed me and lifted me off my feet and straightened up while he kissed me and everyone else cheered.
When he finally let me down the girls wanted to see the ring and they were all gob smacked.
"How long have you been planning this? You would have had to have that thing made." Aria says.
"I’ve been planning for a while." Tyler says.
"You dick. You couldn’t even tell me? You’re own cousin." She says. And I laugh at Aria.
"You would have told her for sure." Tyler says.
"Would you two shut up. You are ruining the best birthday I have ever had." I say.
"Well, I have to say something." Elias says standing up. " I only met Tessa a few days ago and fell in love with her straight away. And I wasn’t sure about Tyler because he’s a wolf and we all know how vampire and wolves are together. But I have to say, that he won me over pretty quickly. Seeing how protective he is of our niece. I know that Tessa couldn’t be in better hands than Tyler." Elias says.
"Oh my god. I just realized. We’re gonna have to have the wedding at nighttime." I say.
"Oh shit. It will be. You guys have to let us know where you are at all times so we know where to send the invitations." Tyler tells my aunt’s and uncle’s.
