When several veteran mercenaries ascended to the realm of gods, the reputation of the Chaos Mercenary Association grew, propelling it to its peak.
By then, the organization had become as famous as the World Bank.
Although it was initially created by the Machine race, the Chaos Mercenary Association had long since surpassed their control and became a multi-racial superpower.
Gods from countless weaker races gathered under its banner, making it a melting pot of divine power.
Though these gods were not individually very strong, their numbers were vast. When united, even the mightiest gods had to take notice of them, for they were not to be underestimated.
Thus, the strength of the Chaos Mercenary Association stretched across the heavens and worlds. Every world had its own branch, issuing mercenary missions that these mercenaries would complete in exchange for rewards.
