Suddenly, I Am Rich

Chapter 72: What The Fuck Is Happening?

The next day, Gray arrived at the office just past 7:30 a.m.. It was earlier than usual, but he wanted enough time to settle things before the supplier meeting later that afternoon.

Once inside his office, he took a few sips of coffee and got to work. Marcus had already sent a list of documents and talking points he’d need for the meeting.

He was really thankful to the man for guiding him in this one.

Based on what Marcus told him, he needed to prepare 5 documents.

The first one was a Purchase Volume Reports. It was to show how much the store had been ordering in the past 3 to 6 months. The idea was to prove that volume had significantly increased to justify the negotiation for lower unit prices.

The second one was a Projected Sales Forecast. It was a document to show that the increase in volume of orders wasn’t just for a one-time spike, but will be consistent in the future.

The third one was a Competitor Pricing Analysis. It was a document that will show the comparison of similar product prices offered by rival stores. It was to give Gray more leverage in discussions.

The fourth one was a Proposed Terms Sheet. That was already done since Marcus already drafted a preliminary list of revised rates and delivery conditions they wanted from the supplier, leaving some wiggle room for negotiation.

Now it was up to Gray to play with that.

"And of course the last one..."

It was an internal evaluation that showed the supplier’s past performance. It was things like delivery speed, product quality, and service issues. Gray could use this either as a last card, depending on how the conversation went.
