Chapter 93: Request
Cyril was again sitting in a familiar gazebo. Morpho decided to use this chance to train just a little bit more.
Myra sat in front of Cyril, her hands resting on the table, her gaze staring down.
There was currently silence around them, and it continued for a few minutes already.
"Wasn't she the one who wanted to talk? Why is she just sitting there..."
Thinking it was time to say something, Cyril lightly tapped on the table to attract her attention.
"What happened yesterday during the test? You looked quite tired then," he casually asked.
Myra raised her head and hesitated for a brief second before saying, "It has something to do with the illusion I was in... or rather with our principal."
She brought her hands to her chin, her gaze cautious. "I am not sure how your starting points looked, but mine was a creation from my mind."
"That cabin was the result of a principal's spell making my mind conjure up the place I... considered home."
Cyril stared silently in her eyes, waiting for her next words.
Was that cave also something from my mind? He thought back to that withered tree underground.
