Chapter 58: Task
Cyril and Myra calmly watched as the man went further and further.
"What was that about?" Myra wondered aloud before moving on.
Before the man left, Cyril managed to hear something about a 'promise' and 'opportunity.'
But he too didn't care too much; the two calmly entered the clinic without wasting any time.
The place was a bit different from how Cyril remembered it. The table was overturned, and a bunch of papers lay scattered on the floor.
Alvin was crouching on the ground, his face blank, as he slowly cleaned everything.
"Come back later; we are closed for now," said the healer with a weak voice.
He didn't even raise his head to see who came in.
"Alright then," Cyril calmly replied.
He didn't mind coming some other time; it's not like they were in a hurry.
But when Alvin heard his voice, he recognized it and turned around.
