The powered up Igris launched forward, not like a knight, but like a beast untethered his great red cloak snapping through the air like a crimson flame. His longsword came down at frightning speed, and Arthur caught it, barely, his Demon King Longsword erupting in blue lightning as steel met steel. The shockwave of the clash tore through the throne room, shattering the stone beneath their feet, and ripping ancient banners from the walls.
Arthur gritted his teeth.
"So you’re faster now."
Igris didn’t answer. He didn’t utter a word since he appeared.
He pressed, sword blurring into a flurry of slashes power behind every one. Arthur blocked, ducked, parried, but the force of Igris was relentless. One blow slammed into his side, sending him skidding across the floor, boots grinding stone, shoulder slamming into a pillar that cracked like thunder.
He exhaled hard.
