The beach had settled into a brief moment of serenity, The Titans were having fun talking to Didi around the fire and against the shore.
Then came the sound.
A shadow tore through the sky above, a falling black comet that screamed through the air and then it landed with a boom.
Doom.
The ground quaked beneath the monstrous impact. Sand exploded outward in a swirling geyser of ash and dust. The campfire was obliterated, towels and drinks scattered everywhere. Doom rose slowly, shoulders heaving, violet eyes burning with force. His spiked arms flexed once, sending a pulse of silent dread across the group.
Cyborg coughed, brushing sand off his shoulder, the glow of his arm cannon igniting reflexively. "What the hell? Did Arthur send him, or did he finally lose control of this thing?"
