Arthur raised one hand toward the gate, shadows swirling at his fingertips like a silent storm gathering.
"Let's get this over with."
CRACK.
The air trembled.
With an imperceptible gesture, Ruler's Authority lashed out, invisible and undeniable. The massive castle gate towering like the wall of a fortress shattered inward with a deafening groan, splinters of enchanted wood and metal flying in every direction like thrown spears. The very stone arch above it cracked in protest, dust raining down as the remnants of the gate crumbled into the darkened hall beyond.
