Tower of Fate – Level 50
Arthur stood before a massive stone door, his Promethium sword resting against his shoulder as he gazed at the intricate lightning bolt symbol carved into the center. The structure itself resembled an ancient fortress, almost like a castle lost to time, its massive walls cracked and weathered. A storm brewed in the skies above, though not a single drop of rain fell, only the distant rumble of thunder and the occasional flicker of lightning illuminating the ominous gateway.
He let out a slow breath, glancing at the permits in his hand, six metallic tablets, each inscribed with a different rune but they all had the lightning bolt symbol. He had spent the last nine floors searching for them, facing nothing but endless ruins, abandoned structures, and old relics of a civilization long past.
Arthur rolled his shoulders. "Gotta say, this was the least fun set of floors so far. Just scavenging through ancient ruins like a damn treasure hunter. At least the assassins and those winged bastards actually put up a fight."
He turned his attention back to his shadow soldiers, standing silently behind him, Doom's towering form, Blade's ever-watchful stance, and the others waiting in the darkness. "You all did good. Even if there wasn't much fighting, I'll give credit where it's due."
