Chapter 25: A Vow To Protect

The extraordinary child of House Blitzfeld. A talent that appears once in two or three generations. He was named the Child of Storm and is seen as the future heir poised to bring House Blitzfeld to greatness.
His performance in the Heldenstein Academy was admired by many of his peers. He is a good and charming leader with his own way of speaking. Indeed, a young man who is loved and respected by his peers.
But where there is light, shadows also exist.
For someone of his calibre, one must think that wherever the young man would go he would bring honour and great name to his family.
But that was the shackles that chained him.
A child who was treated as a beacon for an entire family. But being the beacon is what burdened him. His childhood of playing with friends was taken away from him. His hands that were supposed to hold the hands of toys—were only holding a wooden sword.
He was treated as if his mere existence was to be that beacon—that leader who would lead the Blitzfeld to glory. The cold walls of the Blitzfelds that surrounded him, separated him from the life he wanted.
And only one thing remained—Solitude.
He would not talk but only swing the sword which gave him acknowledgement from his father, the Duke. His mother was distant, she only cared about the achievements the young boy accomplished.
But there was warmth in his life too.
