Chapter 8: His Plan(4)
[Easy, easy, easy. You can do it, Ethan] Dante's encouraging tone rang in my head.
But that was what distracted me and...
"FUCK!!!" I screamed as my body was hit with a surge of mana from within. It felt like thousands of needles were poking at my inside. My whole body which was drenched with sweat trembled at my failed attempt number 16.
"S-Stop talking in my head then. Maybe then I will be able to focus, Dumbass!" I snapped.
I was currently practicing the method that Dante told me about to lose some of the fat so that I can actually get used to this damn body of mine. It was hard to do explosive movements with it as my stamina was miserable. And about my face... it was healed but few marks remained here and there. They will heal over time anyway.
So, I decided to lose excess fat within at least two weeks. I know this is not enough time but I can't peacefully train at the Blitzfeld Estate. The first reason is I am tied in this room as my punishment for trying to disobey the will of the Duke and second, my second elder brother Ikaris Von Blitzfeld was visiting over the semester end break of the academy.
It meant that I, Noah, would get beaten again if I came in front of his sight. He already saw me as an ant, he enjoyed crushing but his bullying became senseless beating... was when I got engaged to Elisabeth.
He was not able to accept the fact that I got to be engaged to a Duke's daughter but he was engaged to a Count's daughter who was a vassal and a close comrade of the Duke. Yes, I ain't calling that abuser father anymore, not that it would make a difference anyway.
So my plan now is to lose weight with the method Dante provided which was painful but I had no choice I am not parkouring with this fucking useless body. The weight loss method also known as the needle pinch, was a method where one would channel mana out of their core and target the fat cells while exercising or meditating.
It has benefits such as faster weight loss and it also improves one's magic control. But remember with no pain comes no gain, so this method should be only performed by fucking a masochist.
And I was definitely not one!
