Chapter 2: Noah Von Blitzfeld
[Legacy Of Heroes] is a game set in the fantasy world of Elmar. Where the players can explore the world of Elmar and interact with different races and species. It was highly praised by critics and audiences alike for its RPG elements.
You can be anything- A knight? Yes. A mage? Of course, without magic how can it be interesting? A fucking douchebag? Hell yeah. You have various builds you can pick from but the story is linear, it follows the same path with some choices along the way and a few different endings.
Well, the most praised part about the game was the random encounters and side quests involving side characters. There were many routes the protagonist could take, he could save others and betray others.
The game's story mostly revolves around the same old pattern of saving the world from an evil force but what sets it apart is character complexity and their own stories. There were heroines you could comfort and make them your romantic partner, heck you can even go for a harem.
But still, there are characters whose past and story are unknown, filler characters or should I say extra. They were clearly created to be used in specific scenarios in a game event or to just make the world feel more alive.
I glanced at the mirror before me looking at my chubby and fat figure wearing a white tunic along with brown pants, I had wheat-blonde hair covering my forehead, along with silvery white eyes. His face was obviously not so good looking as it was filled with fats but he had potential.
"Why him of all people?" I sighed clearly frustrated.
I had been transmigrated into the body of one such character, "Noah Von Blitzfeld". The youngest child of the Blitzfeld family and their disgrace. This guy, he was utterly weak, unlike his siblings who were far stronger.
He was at first a minor third-rate villain that the protagonist humbles because he was harassing his ex-fiancee, Elisabeth Von Eldestein, a major heroine of the game. That is how the protagonist wins her over.
If I want to describe this guy in one word it would be "Simp". He was a fucking lovesick guy, who was obsessed with Elisabeth, who found him annoying. After getting beaten up by the protagonist this guy calms down and actually becomes a supporting character.
Well, that should be fine, right? No, this guy is such a simp that during the attack in the academy, he sacrifices himself to save Elisabeth and dies. Yep, he dies saving the one who did not even care about his existence at all.
