Chapter 55: Gacha
"Soooooo-tan! Your Onee-chan is here!"
"O-Onee-chan? What are you-guh!"
I watched amusedly as Sona fell onto the dirt of the training ground, being tackled by Serafall as the older sister rubbed her cheek against Sona's.
"I was so worried about you, So-tan! I'm glad he's not torturing you!" Serafall yelled as she squeezed Sona a little too tightly, causing the wind to be knocked out of her, "I thought that mean Kat-chan was using nasty magic on my So-tan!"
"W-What? Torture? Magic?" Sona spit out in succession, "I-I'm fine! What are you doing here, Onee-chan? Did you negotiate for our release?"
"Nope!" Serafall smiled far too brightly for what she said next, "I'm a slave!"
"W-What?" Sona stuttered back confusedly with wide eyes.
"I got captured!" Serafall cheered again, rubbing her cheek against Sona's again, "Now we can be hostages together!"
"W-What?" Sona repeated like a broken record, "How did you get captured?!"
"Emotional manipulation!" Serafall nodded sagely, but smiled brightly again, "But Val-chan said I could call someone to bring my Magical Girl Levi-tan outfit, so it's fine!"
Serafall had very quickly gotten over her dismay at being tricked and enslaved - far too quickly for any normal person, but for the bright, cheerful, and definitely not completely mentally sound Maou, I guess she wasn't too upset about something like this.
