Chapter 230: Tenacious Vitality!

The bodies of Finn and Mara collided in mid-air.
In this violent clash, Finn finally gained the upper hand and knocked Mara back.
But Finn didn’t pursue. His body froze in mid-air, brows furrowed in frustration.
"Damn! This guy’s vitality is off the charts. How the hell is he still standing?" Finn cursed inwardly.
Even though he had won that last exchange, the energy it had cost him was substantial.
"Human, you’ve already lost!" Mara sneered, his form twisting grotesquely as he swung a whip-like leg straight toward Finn’s head.
"Nice try!"
Finn scoffed coldly, forming a hardened palm with his right hand and intercepting the kick.
Pat!
Mara was sent flying backward, crashing into the dirt, while Finn staggered two steps before regaining his balance.
