"These smells are disgusting."
At that moment, the dark witch—Wanda Maximoff—suddenly stepped forward, covering her mouth and nose with one hand as she frowned slightly.
To her, the demons lying in front of them were like festering carcasses, and the stench made her stomach churn.
"Isn't it better now?"
Finn gave a calm smile as another wave of dark aura burst out from his body. In an instant, the putrid stench in the air vanished without a trace.
Still, something tugged at his thoughts. The strength of these monsters wasn't especially terrifying by any means—in fact, they were fairly weak.
And yet... they'd lasted this long against Angel. That part didn't add up.
"It's much better, but will they come over again?"
Wanda's brow remained furrowed with concern. Despite how unimpressive these demons seemed individually, their numbers and tenacity were far from negligible.
If the enemy regrouped and attacked again, the entire Angel bloodline could be jeopardized, dragging even more trouble into this mess.
