Stephen, what are you doing here?"
Finn, who was lying on the sofa, frowned slightly. He distinctly remembered that Stephen was supposed to be organizing files in Kamar-Taj.
"I'm here to see you, Finn," Stephen said, his tone direct. Dressed in a formal suit rather than his usual robes, he glanced around the room, taking in the sight of the three of them together.
"Come in," the Dark Witch said, stepping aside.
Without hesitation, Stephen entered. He eyed Finn and the witches before his curiosity got the better of him. "Did you send her back?"
"That's not your concern," Finn replied, standing up and slipping on his shoes. "I'll explain later. What brings you here?"
Stephen exhaled and collected his thoughts. "After you left, the multiverse started to destabilize again. It's more serious than last time."
"What happened?" Wanda asked, stepping forward, confused. The last multiversal crisis had supposedly been resolved. Why was it unraveling again?
Could it be...?
Stephen caught her expression and immediately addressed her concern. "This is different from last time. And this time, it's far worse."
"Isn't this something you can handle?" Finn asked, arms crossed. "Kamar-Taj is always the first to respond when things go south. Isn't that your responsibility?"
