Marvel : I'm in Westview Town

Chapter 117

---

The night was not peaceful, and Wanda remembered something she had heard before.

It was a phenomenon tied to nature itself.

Spring bamboo shoots will keep growing. If there's an abundance of nutrients—like a surge of cosmic energy—it will break through everything, growing thicker and taller in the process, rising into towering spires of vibrant green.

She hadn't witnessed it before.

But now, she had seen the growth of those shoots firsthand and felt both pain and joy in the experience.

Especially the sensation of opening her heart—light and free, as if she were fluttering like one of the Eternals soaring through the sky.

On the other hand, Finn was ecstatic. He had glimpsed yet another limit of the human body's toughness and softness.

He couldn't help but recall a distant memory—a past life, perhaps. An old man in a remote mountain village had once spoken of tilling the land. Dry soil, when churned with tools, revealed the damp, fertile earth beneath.

To let fresh seeds take root, every patch had to be turned over repeatedly, clearing out weeds that might choke the new growth.

Until the sky gradually brightened.
