The Manor Restaurant was located at the center of the entrance gate. Since it was converted into a business facility at the end of the last century, the restaurant not only served the residents but also welcomed outsiders to dine.
As it approached noon, the once-empty restaurant was filling up with more and more customers.
"This way, please. Both of you," a middle-aged man led Finn and Wanda to a table for two by the window.
"There are other matters I need to attend to. I hope you have a pleasant lunch. Goodbye."
"Thank you," Finn nodded, then took his seat opposite Wanda. Their position was just right to enjoy the beautiful view of the garden outside.
He opened the half-covered window, letting in the refreshing autumn breeze before pushing the menu toward Wanda.
"Witch, what do you want to eat?"
"I don't know the dishes here. Please help me order," Wanda replied, flipping through the menu. The unfamiliar dishes made her hesitate, and she pushed it back with a slightly embarrassed look.
"Actually, I haven't eaten here before either, so I'll just order something at random," Finn said with a light chuckle. Seeing Wanda's hesitation, he picked a few dishes he thought she might like and placed the order on the digital tablet.
