Chiang Yi felt very good early in the morning, as the college entrance exam results had come out two days prior, and his performance was quite decent.

Taking leave means losing pay, and Mother Chiang was reluctant to do so. Chiang Yi would need money for college, living expenses, and then after graduation, he would be facing marriage — he’d have to buy a home, right?
