Transmigration: On the Gossip Front

The exams had ended, and everyone was eagerly anticipating when the results would come out, as only with the results would they know whether they had been admitted to a university.

Beyond comparing answers, the most discussed topic was that Shen Jie had performed poorly in this exam.

Some did raise doubts, after all, no one had asked Shen Jie, nor had anyone compared answers with her, so how could they be sure that she had done badly?

Unfortunately, whenever such doubts were voiced, they were immediately shot down with the reasoning that Shen Jie looked very upset after the last exam.

What was more, somebody had mentioned in front of her that she hadn’t performed well, and she didn’t say a word in rebuttal.

"If she had done well, wouldn’t she have refuted it?"

"Everyone says she did poorly, and Shen Jie has been staying indoors all day long. Wouldn’t she have heard if she hadn’t stepped out, hadn’t they heard?"

"Nor did we hear them refute it."

In summary, all these signs seemed to prove one thing: that Shen Jie had definitely not done well. If she had, she certainly would have rebutted.

So, everyone began to assume that Shen Jie had indeed done poorly, but she didn’t really care about these discussions.
