Chapter 348 - 337 Visitor_2
Mountain Eagle looked at Tessa with a determined face and sighed, "I won’t move, I’ll go in with you to wash your face, so nobody else sees and mistakes my girl for a fool."
After hearing this, Tessa let out a bubble through her nose, then pinched Mountain Eagle’s arm embarrassingly and dashed into his house. Just before entering the door, she called out to Samantha and Shasili, "You guys stay in the room next door, I never lived in it even after I finished decorating."
Mountain Eagle, nodding in response to Samantha’s questioning look, said, "Taigore asked me to take care of you a bit. Until you find a suitable house, you’re welcome to stay here temporarily if you don’t mind the seclusion."
Actually, Samantha was not particularly keen on staying in Tessa’s house, much like any wife wouldn’t be excited to wear her sister-in-law’s hand-me-downs.
Seeing the resigned look on Mountain Eagle’s face, she covered her mouth with a chuckle and said, "Taigore has prepared a house for me in town, but it hasn’t been tidied up yet, so I’ll be troubling you for the next couple of days."
With that, Samantha looked through the glass doors at Tessa bustling about in the house and smiled, saying, "It won’t be too much trouble, right?"
Mountain Eagle carelessly waved his hand, "I mostly do everything myself here, everyone just needs to take care of their own stuff, what trouble could there be for me?"
While speaking, Mountain Eagle glanced at Shasili, who was pale with her arm in a sling, and hesitated before saying, "You have a gunshot wound, you should be resting in the hospital..."
Shasili quickly waved her hands and said, "No need, no need, I can already move around, thank you for your concern..."
Watching how unsettled Shasili looked, Samantha laughed and spoke, "Since you’re here, why can’t you be straightforward?"
Then, turning to Mountain Eagle with a somewhat helpless expression, Samantha said, "I’ve handed over my restaurant in Bangkok to someone else, and Shasili has nowhere to go. She heard I was coming here to find you and asked me to bring her along. She’s hardworking, and she’s a talented graduate from Bangkok University, majoring in business management. I’ve been wanting her to take over managing the restaurant, but well... you see how things turned out. Is there anything suitable for her to do here?"
Mountain Eagle was just about to refuse when Mr. Poincaré interjected, "Sofia needs a local assistant who can understand her, and I think she is a good candidate."
