Mountain Eagle agreed with Butcher’s assessment; even in Thailand’s red-light district, businesses wouldn’t operate until 3 am.
The fact that someone was on duty at such an hour meant they were either professional or extremely well-paid by the boss.
But no boss would spend good money on useless hires, so regardless of the reason, these guards were professionals.
Four men guarded the main entrance; their positions weren’t particularly intricate, but they covered every corner of the entrance.
Outside the back door, four men were divided into two groups, standing at different intersections, smoking and chatting - able to provide early warning and monitor the dirty alleys on both sides of the factory.
Once they gave the alert, the four men on the inside of the back door could use their automatic rifles to support them, or block the enemy outside the big iron gate.
Climbing the walls was clearly impractical; the 3-meter wall wasn’t particularly high, but the iron spikes on top made it difficult to enter the yard without alerting the guards.
Even though the opponents were quite professional, this level of professionalism still seemed somewhat superficial to a true expert.
Although Sam was not keen on doing private jobs for Mountain Eagle, when it came down to it, he displayed an excellent professional attitude.
He quickly sketched out the interior and surrounding terrain of the factory on a notebook and waited for the sniper to complete his observations, then verified them one by one with the drone footage...
Finally, he discussed with the Team A leader and approached Mountain Eagle, saying, "Are you sure the hostages are inside?"
