Chapter 215: A Tough Attitude
Upon hearing that their opponent wanted to talk about those Marine Corps corpses, Mountain Eagle knew he had encountered someone who truly knew the ropes...
Compared to Snowden, those Marine Corps corpses were equally important.
But the opponent used the corpses as the entry point, primarily to attempt contact with Mountain Eagle, and then to judge his attitude through his reactions after the probing.
All of this was within Mountain Eagle’s expectations!
The reason he insisted on getting involved when Gray Wolf and his people clashed with these individuals was to retain those corpses, giving the opponent a less sensitive entry point.
It was about building a ladder for the opponents, letting them approach him in the direction he had outlined.
Intimidating Major Kane included a bit of Mountain Eagle’s own wicked taste for fun, as well as the intention to mislead them.
Being able to clearly state their numbers and locations would instinctively make them feel that Mountain Eagle was nearby, and consequently, the tension might affect their negotiation choices.
Negotiating via radio wasn’t practical, so Mountain Eagle forthrightly gave the other party his mobile number, even if the CIA had the ability to pinpoint his location using the phone, it didn’t matter.
The more people they sent, the greater the chaos it would cause, and the more disorderly the situation became, the more it favored Mountain Eagle.
As for what would happen later, it was even less of a concern; a prepaid disposable SIM card could just be thrown away.
