Jia stared at the tall skyscraper as far as her sight could take her but even then she couldn’t see an end to it. She felt a hand squeeze the back of her neck and her eyes narrowed.
"I will break your fingers if you try to be more touchy."
Mingshen pouted. "As a responsible doctor, it’s my duty to not let you break your neck. You just never appreciate my thoughtfulness."
"Thoughtfulness or pervertedness?"
"Don’t worry, Spicy. I have booked a special room just for the two of us where I will show you every inch of my shameless side~" he winked.
Jia pressed her lips, her mind unable to make sense of why Mingshen brought her into a VIP club. It was named The Zenith Lounge and it only did one thing - scream of filthy wealthiness. Even the sky wasn’t the limit.
"You thought about spending the day here?"
He sparkled. "Am I not so amazing?"
"Knowing full well that I might not even be able to afford a glass of water here?"
He waved his hand as if that wasn’t even a thing to worry about.
"And you forced me to take a day off for something where the loose change in my wallet only serves the purpose to humiliate me?"
