Jia knew what Mingshen was talking about.
Others’ actions and decisions.
He meant Song Lan and Song Wuying, who let her down.
Whose actions she couldn’t control and which now haunted her.
Jia’s gaze was fixated at the small prescription paper. Her mind felt like a jumbled mess but she refused to budge in the end. She extended her arm and took the prescription paper in her hand. The paper gently swayed.
Instead of accepting it, she tore the paper right in front of his eyes and stood upright, facing him with a steadfast expression.
"I am not depressed. I don’t need any medicine. Thank you for your concern but I don’t need it. I am just stressed out because of the case and nothing else...!" She breathed out shakily.
Mingshen arched his brow. "You don’t know what you are doing which is why I feel it’s my responsibility to tell you," he gave a light smile. "You will come back. I know. And I am not meaning to give any pointless challenge. Your mind is breaking down and soon, it will reach its breaking point."
Jia trembled.
He is wrong...he is wrong!! There is nothing wrong with me!
Jia shot him a deadly glare and she was in no mood to entertain anymore of his baseless nonsense. She threw away the torn pieces of paper and opened the door in a wide swing. She wanted to storm out but bumped into Yang Bingqing, who almost got a shock with the sudden crash.
