Jia knitted her brows. She turned to face him and folded her arms. His devilish charm would have made a woman drop dead at his sight but not Jia.
"You are not a normal man, so I am curious what dirty talk means to you. The usual meaning doesn’t apply in your case."
"Dirty, naughty and sexy ooze out of every cell of my body. I fail to see why you fail to see it," he grimaced in displeasure.
"You stopped me so you could make this point?"
He smiled. He inched closer, gently pushing her chest with his until her back bumped on the door. His hands slid closer to her head on both sides, leaning his face just inches away from her.
Jia had to admit that his beauty was a sight to behold. She would die rather than confessing it to him and stroke his already inflated ego.
"I stopped you..." his whisper of a voice was only audible to her, "because my patient is in trouble."
"I am not your patient anymore."
"I saved your heart."
"And if I remember correctly, I got discharged two years back," she reminded him.
He slightly lifted her chin up, his finger brushing against her skin with a tingle as his eyes twinkled. "But I will always be your doctor."
