Zeng Shan interrupted with teary eyes. "It’s far from over! I know for a fact that Manchu didn’t do this on his own. Somebody else is behind it!"

Manchu was probably fooling around with her too, so why does she care about him so much? He might not be even thinking about her in jail.

Hou Tengqi smiled. "I see. It would indeed be a sad affair if there is more than one culprit but only one of them is behind bars. I am sure Supervisor Lei would leave no stone unturned in this investigation."
