Chapter 84: Aang’s side of story
At the amusement park.
"I don’t know how the cotton candy got on her dress. It’s definitely not from my shoe," Aang said, frustrated and agitated. "What if the one who hit Anhe planted it there to frame me?"
"That’s bullshit!" Yibo lashed out. "When did anybody see me near a cotton candy shop?"
"Yeah s-same!" Jinping anxiously chimed in. "I don’t even like cotton candy."
"Doesn’t mean you cannot take it with you to frame me," Aang sneered.
"That’s not true!" He inhaled sharply.
Jia received a message from Huojin where he left a short but powerful piece of information. Her eyes slightly widened, and she contemplated deeply.
She then looked at everybody and said, "Wait outside. I want to talk to Aang alone for a moment."
The group was glad to leave. Even though they weren’t officially released by her, the cast of suspicion was away from them, at least for some time.
Apart from Lihua and the gang, the rest of the group had left.
Aang gritted his teeth. "I am not going to budge to your pressure just because I am alone."
