Chapter 64: Cat ears, mouse ears, Pikachu ears
The off day to unwind and enjoy at an amusement park arrived in no time. Near the huge wide entrance jumped and danced the mascots of different cartoon characters. Children followed and danced around them too, giggling and laughing. Soap bubbles floated in the air coming from a nearby toy store, and children ran after them to catch the flying bubbles shining rainbow colors under the sunlight.
On the other side, people crowded at a shop to buy headbands with colorful and different shapes of ears mounted on them. Some were cat ears, some rabbits, some foxes and some mickey mouse ears had grabbed the crowd’s attention.
A tiny, chubby hand was chasing after a bubble until that chubby hand was pulled back. Jia squished her nephew’s cheeks, who was trotting towards the bubble with full speed. "We don’t want to lose you in the crowd."
"Jiaaa..." Weiyun brightly laughed, pointing his finger at the flying bubble, while tugging her pants with his other hand.
"Yes, yes. The bubble is beautiful."
"Bu...bubble...fly..."
Jia brightened at seeing him talking out a sentence. At one and a half years old, Limei and Weiyun were rapidly learning new words and trying to form broken sentences too. She picked him up, kissing him on his cheek. "You are learning so quickly!"
Returning back to where everybody was, she saw Bojing running after Limei from a distance just like she was chasing after Weiyun. His anxious tears expressed how frightened he was of losing Limei’s sight.
"Sis! How does this look?" Lihua hopped to her side, wearing a Pikachu ears headband. She made Weiyun and Limei wear a Pichu headband while Wei wore a Raichu headband with no qualms.
Jia coughed hard seeing the family wear the headbands of the pokemon’s evolution. "Cu-Cute..."
"You mean silly and stupid."
