The corridor was part of the Yang Mansion construction. Though it was definitely not entirely safe, the unpredictability increased if one walked aimlessly through open spaces.
Along the corridor, they passed an office with open windows.
Looking inside, they discovered the interior was astonishingly spacious.
Naturally, it should have been a small three or four square meter office, or perhaps a reception desk, but now it appeared to be several dozen square meters in size.
Tan Wenbin rubbed his eyes in disbelief, glancing back and forth between the outside and the inside.
He had previously joked about "stealing" a space, and now it seemed he had been too conservative. *How much space have they actually managed to ’steal’ here?*

He remembered suddenly, *Wasn’t this layout similar to what they had encountered in the antechamber when the four of them entered the underground palace?*
So, was the corridor they were currently walking on essentially the tomb passageway?
The corridor first passed through the office area with a left turn midway, leading directly to the entrance of the main hall, where the statue of the general was located.
At this moment, the lights there were the brightest, and faint human voices could be heard.
