The attributes of the Militia were much stronger than those of the Farmers, who only had stats of one in all categories. Compared to Werewolves, they seemed not much stronger than First Order Werewolves and not much weaker than Second Order Howlers. In short, as the most basic military unit of the human race, the Militia’s strength wasn’t as negligible as their name suggested—they were indeed capable of contending with Werewolves. However, as a Second Order military unit, the recruitment cost for Militia was definitely higher than for the First Order units of other races. This likely served as a balance for the natural tax-paying talents of the Farmers.
Eddie, having successfully advanced to become a Second Order militiaman, was appointed by Yan Xing as the militia captain of the first Militia troop in the Eternal Domain. The physical fitness of the Militia was much more robust than that of the Farmers. During the recruitment and advancement process, the Militia automatically received a set of cloth armor, a Short Sword, and a spear. Standing in line for Yan Xing’s inspection, their spirited appearance simply could not be compared to that of Farmers.
Yan Xing was very satisfied with his domain’s first human army. It was just that their equipment was rather rudimentary and certainly did not match the trend of the Eternal Domain Soldiers’ gear. He said to Eddie, "Go get the new Militia equipped by Gao Sipa right away. Before dinner, I want to see their gear exactly like yours."
Before the war with the Duan’er Tribe, the equipment Eddie and his chosen Farmers received was on par with Olaf’s Werewolves. They were all wearing half-body armor and Tactical Vests, with items like slingshots, stun batons, daggers, anti-werewolf spray, and walkie-talkies all stuffed into different pockets of the Tactical Vests. They had helmets on their heads and special military boots that Yan Xing had purchased for them on their feet. It was countless times more advanced than the cloth armor the Militia initially wore.
Yan Xing, wanting to show off his army, definitely couldn’t let the new Militia meet Duan’er while wearing cloth armor. The equipment had already been prepared in advance and was managed by Gao Sipa. They rushed to change their gear, ready to impress Duan’er.
"Yes, Lord!" Eddie led his men to receive equipment from Gao Sipa.
Yan Xing continued to convert another building.
