Chapter 84: (This is definitely better than the original) Speech after Publishing!! Brothers, please read!_1
This book will finally be launched [tomorrow, April 22nd, at 12:00 PM]!
Firstly, thanks to my brothers for your company along the way!
BOO HOO HOO HOO, holding on until this moment, I suddenly feel like crying...
From this book having no chance on Sanjiang, to my brothers collectively making efforts to help Huamei secure a "late-bloomer" spot on Sanjiang, it truly hasn’t been easy at all!
To be honest, I’ve had a lot of fun injecting humor and writing comedic scenarios for this book. I often find myself chuckling at some of the plotlines as I read them over.
But perhaps it’s precisely because of this lighthearted and meme-filled style.
The total number of readers following this story has always been far ahead for me, Huamei. However, the number of [paying readers] doesn’t even match that of niche novels with less than half my collection count... T_T
Because the paid readership wasn’t sufficient, the book’s launch was repeatedly postponed.
Many author friends have told me that writing this kind of story, catering to a younger reader demographic, means that no matter how many collections it gets or how active the Chapter comments are, it’s ultimately pointless. They say a standard progression-fantasy novel, even a simulator-type, would have a larger paying audience. It’s harsh but true. T_T
I, Huamei, don’t mean to criticize non-paying readers; I was a student once too. However, I hope everyone understands that a book ultimately relies on subscriptions to be validated. A book’s subscriptions, especially the initial subscription numbers, determine if it’s worth continuing to write... (Honestly, while everyone hates eunuchs (dropped stories), I believe no author truly wants to abandon a story they’ve carefully conceived.)
