Nia Mitchell scoffed, knowing these people wouldn’t believe her, but it didn’t matter. She had only blurted it out on impulse.

EdbertNia Mitchell, the big boss of Star Media, was one year older than Maxwell Peary, at exactly thirty years of age.
Nia Mitchell smugly shifted her gaze to the computer and opened her mailbox.
Damn it! Phoebe Walker had actually assigned her a mountain of work—and all of it was menial, stuff that required no skill but was well within her capabilities.
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP...
Suddenly, the landline on Nia Mitchell’s desk rang. Startled, she reached out and answered it.
"Get me a cup of coffee."
Huh, Uncle Peary’s voice... A cup of coffee? Nia Mitchell was speechless. How could the call have been directed to her?
It was common knowledge that making coffee was Phoebe Walker’s responsibility. Just yesterday, she had entered the CEO’s Office Room multiple times for this very task.
"Hmph, you shouldn’t be giving out the office number to your various friends. This is a Company, not your home!" Phoebe Walker snapped, finally feeling she had caught Nia Mitchell in the wrong, her voice dripping with confidence and condescension.
Nia Mitchell silently rolled her eyes. "I don’t even know the number for this landline, okay?"
