Chapter 170: A night together
Quin sat on the deck of the flying ship, a holographic display in front of him, showing the students. It switched from person to person—twenty different screens.
He hummed a tune as he watched all of them, and then after a while, it switched to Riven and Sofia’s fight.
He was a bit surprised when he saw the crocodile, as that type of beast was set as one that couldn’t be seen by students easily. It stayed hidden and away unless they did something to wake it up.
"Seems those two managed to get a special beast to wake up," Richard said as he approached from behind.
"Yup, and they seem to be dealing with it well," Quin replied.
"So what about that tomorrow? We told them beasts, but are you really going with the beasts, or do you have something else in mind?" Richard asked.
"I do—Demonized. Many of them are traumatized by what happened, and they have a deep-rooted fear of the demonized, so they’ll have to tackle it tomorrow to gather points," Quin said.
"Hmm, isn’t that a bit too much?" Richard asked.
"It might be, it might not, but sooner or later, they will all be forced into war against the demonized. Being scared of the enemy is as simple as killing yourself, and so we have to strike out that fear by force," Quin said. He turned his attention back to the battle that was happening.
