Chapter 124: Quin VS Sally
Clang.
Both swords collided in the air, sending out ripples that made the sky shake. Sally and Quin locked in the air for a moment. The smile on Sally’s face remained, and the neutral expression of Quin was still on his face.
"I always hated how you make it seem like you are above everything, but today I’ll fix that," Sally said. She pushed back, flipped in the air, and landed on the ground inside the training yard.
Quin landed a few meters away. He set his sword to the side and, without a word, shot at her. His body became a blur as he slashed from below diagonally.
She tilted her head back, dodging the attack by just an inch. Her eyes followed the sword as it went by.
Quin still continued his motion even after her dodge, using his shoulder in an unexpected move to slam into her chest and send her to the ground.
She rolled quickly and got to her knees fast enough to block his overhead strike. The ground crackled beneath her from the force. She pushed his sword up and followed away.
"It seems you aren’t ready to fight me with everything you have, Quin, but I’ll make you show me that power," she said and suddenly started running in one direction.
Quin gave chase immediately, following her. She leaped over the fence and made her way into the forest.
