Chapter 102: Restaurant
The capital was noisy, people carrying out their businesses all around. Even though this was the second time that he had been here, it was still a beautiful place to be.
The massive buildings made of fine marbles and bricks, the beautifully made roads that stretched as far as the eye could see.
"So where do you want to go?" Mia asked.
"Hmm, let’s get something to eat first. It’s still early, but I’m craving some meat," Riven said. He looked around for a bit and then looked at her. "I’m sure that you have been here a lot of times. Do you know any places to eat?" he asked.
"I’m the daughter of a Duke. No one would allow me wander the streets just like that," she replied.
"I find that hard to believe. You aren’t the type that someone can stop," Riven said.
"Stop speaking like you know me. Sigh, I know a place, come with me," she said and started walking.
"I knew it," Riven said and followed behind. As they walked through the street, they could feel the eyes pinned on them. It slowly made Riven uncomfortable.
"Why are they looking at us so much?" he asked.
"We are students of the Royal Academy. Your status just because you are students is comparable to a high noble on its own," she replied, keeping her eyes forward.
"Huh? I never knew about that," Riven said, and he wasn’t lying about it.
