An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me

Chapter 74: Show Them

Three days went by like a breeze, with nothing really special happening, except for the fact that Riven sold off all his crystals from the monster to the adventurer guild and got a butt load of coins.

His father also chipped in, giving each of them a hundred gold coins each, both boys were basically rich at the moment. He also gave Noel the money to cover their tuition, like he was so sure that they would both get into the academy.

After bidding everyone goodbye, they all got into a carriage that was prepared and began their journey to the capital, and the Royal Academy, where the final exams were. Luckily for them, Robert was only a twelve-hour journey to the floral earth using the forest route, so they would reach after sunset, enough time to rest and prepare for the next exams the following day.

As they rode toward the capital, Riven expected the cliché bandit-coming-out-of-the-forest-to-attack-them scene, but to his disappointment, it didn’t happen, and for some reason, that genuinely pissed him off.

’Am I not important enough to have such an event?’ he thought to himself.

The capital of Vermillion was no small city, it was a major metropolis buzzing with life and innovation. Its walls stood close to fifty feet tall, built of fine marble and stone. The capital had four gates, each facing North, South, East, or West.

When they arrived at the gates after the sun had set, crystals lit up the gates, carefully placed at certain positions.

The guards checked their carriage, ascertained what they were doing there from the coachman, and collected a temporary entry pass of two silver coins per person.

The coachman rode into the capital after that, following the main street, his first location an inn for the boys.
