Chapter 31: Dungeon boss
He spun his blade around and went for a full slash, cutting the bat in two, splattering more blood. The body of the bat fell to the ground and what remained was the crystal.
He picked up the crystal and then looked up at the goblins that were struggling for their lives, an evil smile crept up on his face as he walked towards them. He stabbed all of them and killed them.
After killing them, he turned his attention to the bat crystal.
"Absorb," he said. He felt the same surge of energy as the first time, rushing into his body at a rapid pace, and then everywhere went dark.
The musty smell of a cave reached his nose soon after. The sound of dripping liquid got into his ear, dropping down in a uniform pattern.
Split-splat.
His eyes slowly opened, immediately met with the extreme darkness, yet he could somehow still see where he was. He was inside a cave, hanging from the roof of the cave.
’Did I become the blood bat? Does this mean I would be transported for every new dungeon monster I kill?’ he wondered to himself.
He looked around the cave to get an understanding of where he was, and there he saw it, a creature curled up on the ground of the cave, in a puddle of its own purple blood.
