Orian’s POV

When the carriage suddenly stopped, it scared me because we hadn’t even come that far, and the carriage just stopped. And when the door opened, the person I saw—seeing him—my heart skipped a beat.

Of course, ’cause it was Meyer. What is he doing here? Don’t tell me he came here because he was following me. Was he sad because I didn’t talk with him?

But by his face... I can’t tell what he is thinking or what he is doing here.

I glanced at Silas because I knew he must be shocked to see Meyer here. But Silas was smiling while looking at me and Meyer.

Wait, did this Silas do this?

"You both enjoy your time here, okay? And sort it out. What happened between you two."

And Silas suddenly went out of the carriage. I was worried about him, that’s why I glanced outside and saw him getting on those four Alphas’ carriage. My eyes turned toward Meyer as he stepped inside and closed the door, and the carriage started to move again.

I didn’t know what to say because I was not even making eye contact with Meyer. Because I didn’t want to talk with him right now. I didn’t even want to see his face.
