Silas’s POV
Just then I heard a running sound. I covered my mouth with both hands as my heart was also beating very fast.
And just then, a few of them were standing right under the tree. I did try my best to hold my breath.
"Where the hell is that bitch gone?"
"If I’m not able to have him today, I’m going to kill all of you!"
"Let’s get separate and find him. Whoever finds him first can have their turn on him first."
Wait, isn’t this alpha the one whose pack is just rising now?
I was listening to all of them, and just then those alphas left. As they left, I didn’t feel their presence there anymore; that’s why I jumped down from the tree.
When it came down to it, it was my chance to run away from there. So I quickly went inside the bushes and took out the present.
But while taking it out, when I was coming out from the bushes, suddenly a hard pain landed on my head.
And I realized that one of those alphas was hiding there, and he had hit me on the head with wood. I start to feel dizzy. And it went dark.
