Chapter 257: Practice
As Shine heard Silas guessing right, his face flushed, and Silas also realized that he was right.
"So I am right... But when did this happen? I thought you wouldn’t like him, but then again, what we predict actually never happens."
Shine looked away, still blushing, listening to Silas, and Atlas was shocked because he came all the way here with Shine, yet he didn’t notice this—while Silas noticed in one glance.
Lysander was still sitting on the floor, looking at them.
There was a smile on Lysander’s face—even though he was tired, he was still happy looking at Silas, who was still teasing Shine.
After a whole fifteen minutes, they all left from there. Lysander went to his home, while Shine and Atlas did the same—and Silas too since it was already late in the night.
When he knocked on the door, no one opened it. He glanced around on both sides and knocked again.
Finally, he heard the noise of things inside, and the door opened. Theron was right in front of him with messy hair, half asleep with one eye open, and Velric was in his arms, wide awake.
"OMG, Theron, what happened to you?"
Silas quickly took Velric from Theron. As Silas held him in his arms, Velric rested his face on Silas’s shoulder, wrapping his hands around his neck and closing his eyes.
"This kid is getting wild, you know. I’m really tired, and I wanted to sleep, but he’s not sleeping at all—he was wide awake and had the energy of 100 elephants."
