When Theron closed his eyes, a sudden darkness turned into light, and he found himself standing in front of the palace.
The palace looked like the one he had seen in the history books.
Everything seemed different. Nothing was like the era he was living in now. He didn’t understand where he was.
So he took a step forward. But when he stepped into the palace, his feet got bloody because there was blood on the floor.
And when Theron glanced up and his gaze moved around, he saw corpses of the royal knights.
They were wearing shining armors, but their hands were cut off, or their legs— their corpses were scattered around, like a pile, one on top of the other.
From any angle, that scene was not something that could be called normal. Still, Theron took a step ahead, because he was getting a vibe that there was something behind the door in front of him.
Since there were so many corpses in front of that door, it meant something mysterious was inside.
When Theron took a step ahead and opened the door, he saw it was a hallway. And the hallway was very silent. It was like no one was alive in that whole palace.
And just then, a crying sound reached Theron’s ears. As soon as he heard it, he quickly glanced around to see where that sound was coming from.
And when he found out, he went in that direction directly.
