Silas’s POV
Without wasting any time, I jumped directly into the waterfall.
As soon as I hit the water, my whole outfit got drenched, and the cold water touched my skin. It felt amazing—exactly what I needed.
I started to swim, floating and relaxing in the water.
The heat from earlier was washing away, and this cold water was giving my body a new life—cool, soothing, and refreshing.
Just then, I saw Theron jump into the waterfall too—but unlike me, he had taken off his shirt and pants.
And that’s when a thought hit me: What am I going to wear after this?
Why didn’t I think of this before jumping in? I should’ve removed my clothes too.
But now it’s too late—they’re soaked. Still, maybe it’s a good thing I’m wearing them...
after all, Theron is in here with me. Who knows what he might try? So, my clothes can stay on—they’re my safety gear now.
I turned to glance at Theron, only to find him right behind me. I flinched, took a step back—and my foot slipped on a rock, making me fall straight into the water.
